Departing smile

You captured my heart from the moment we met,

Your smile filled my eyes with tears.

The sun shone through a shower of rain

and lightened my troubles and fears.

The day you left a shadow was cast over my whole world.

I realised then that this would be the last goodbye,

and will be until we meet again someday.
