Hello stranger.

Oh, hello stranger.

It’s been forever since we last met,

Your face has not been easy to forget.

The twinkle in those eyes that dance up and down,

Your body so handsome, so tanned and brown.

That innocent look I know so well,

It’s been a while since I’ve seen you,

A while that’s been hell.

Where were you when you said you’d phone?

I was waiting all day, I’ve never felt so alone.

I tried to call, but you weren’t there;

So I figured, well, you just couldn’t care.

I should hate you for awakening feelings I’ve hidden

And for disrespecting the part of me forbidden.

I can’t, though I try, but forget I must

It’ll be a long time before there’s another I’ll trust.

So see you around, perhaps we’ll meet again,

Au revoir, fare thee well, auf wiedersehen..©
