Au Revoir to love

Someone finally understands you, thinks just like you do

Your lonely days are over, no more feeling blue.

Two bodies and one soul, no one can tell apart

You thought your life was over, it’s only just a start.

But the world goes on and we turn a blind eye

Never a thought that there would be a goodbye

Time does not linger, it waits for no man

Feels no sorry or pity, it moves on while it can.

You’re back where you started; your heart is ruled by pain

The light at the end of the tunnel is that of an oncoming train. ©
