You are my light, when I am weary.

You are my comfort, when I am teary.

You give your all, but ask for none

And you keep giving when the day is done.

You are my teacher, you are my friend

You give me hope, when I see no end.

Your heart is good, thou it’s been broken,

I’ve reached today with the wise words you’ve spoken.

You are my gift, from up above

Who has blessed me with you to love.

I would not change just who you are,

You are my Mom, you are my star.©
